Toshiba's Satellite Pro U200 won a Best Buy award in our ultra-portable notebook Labs test in Shopper September 2006. It weighs only 1.9kg but feels tough, with no flex to the chassis under pressure. The keyboard is spacious, though it lacks some travel, but the touch pad is excellent and there's a fingerprint reader for added security. The Satellite Pro performed well in our benchmarks with an overall score of 130, which means it will power through even tough tasks. The battery lasted an impressive four hours and 45 minutes, which was the best in the group and more than enough for regular mobile use. The widescreen display has a 1,280x800 native resolution. It's bright, has even backlighting and no graininess. This is a great notebook for those on the move who don't want to sacrifice computing power. By Seth Barton SPECIFICATIONS:
