Terratec's Grabster AV 150 lets you capture analogue video to your PC. It connects using USB2 and has composite and S-video inputs, so you can hook up most camcorders or VCRs. Capturing video is simple, but you'll need a sound card if you want to capture audio as well. Terratec supplies the full version of Ulead's DVD MovieFactory 3, which you can use to edit video and burn the results to DVD. Video quality depends entirely on your source material. This is a well thought out device that would benefit from audio support. But many analogue and hybrid TV tuners can do the same job for a similar price, and they can show TV as well. By |
