Just like all good Bond villains' secret weapons, Microsoft's new wireless mouse uses a laser rather than the normal LED to track movement. This gives smoother, more precise movement. Our cursor managed to sail smoothly across the screen with little hand movement. The scroll wheel has a tilt function, so you can scroll sideways through windows. There's also a browser Back button and a smaller button that pops up a magnifier. These buttons can be modified with the excellent IntelliMouse software. It's a well-built mouse but it's designed for right-handed people, and those on a tight budget should opt for a standard optical mouse instead. By David Ludlow Sponsored Links
