Product ReviewsMusic/MP3 players
The E808a looks like a mouse with the top sliced off to reveal a control stick and backlit display. The stick manages most functions, but it feels flimsy. The Aigo has a good set of features for the price. It supports MP3 and WMA files, displays ID3 track data and has an FM radio. The 128MB model we reviewed has only enough space for around four albums; a 512MB version costs £80. The biggest problem with the player is its headphones, which incorporate a neck strap and sound awful. None of the six preset equalisation modes helps much, and playback must be paused to apply them. Using better headphones improves the sound significantly. While £40 appears a good price for a 128MB player with a radio, the Creative MuVo reviewed last month has better sound quality, and this alone justifies its higher price.
