If you've upgraded your PC's processor or graphics card, your old power supply may be struggling. Coolermaster's RS-450-ACLY has a maximum output of 450W, which should be ample. It has seven Molex plugs - suitable for most IDE and optical drives - two floppy connectors and two SATA connectors. A supplied adaptor converts between the newer 24-pin motherboard connector and regular 20-pin ATX.
The unit switches automatically between mains voltages and frequencies and it's quiet, even under load. The blue LEDs illuminating the fan won't be to everyone's taste, but watching the power meter twitch when you run various programs is geeky fun. This is a decent supply.
