Notebook trackpads and trackpoints are fine when you've got the computer on your lap. Sit down at a desk, however, and you'll soon find yourself wishing for a mouse.

With the size of regular mice a problem when travelling, Logitech has released its Notebook Optical Mouse Plus. Around half the size of a normal desktop mouse, it's still large enough to sit comfortably in the hand.

Portability is helped further by the neat way the USB cable wraps around the side of the mouse and clips underneath. The cable is short and, depending on your notebook's USB placement, you might need an extension cable to use it properly. Otherwise, it's a must for regular travellers.
