Apple revises battery recall list

Apple has revised its list of PowerBook and iBook batteries that are eligible for replacement under the recall programme announced last week.
The company now lists a narrower range of 12in iBook and 15in PowerBook batteries.
iBook batteries with serial numbers starting in the range 6C519 to 6C552 are only eligible if they end with S9WA, S9WC or S9WD; 15in PowerBook battery numbers starting with 6N530 to 6N551 must end with THTA, THTB or THTC and those starting with 6N601 must end with THTC.
