Blu-ray Disc Association highlights gallery of first devices 3:44PM, Friday 16th September 2005
The Blu-ray Disc Association has returned from IFA 2005, the world's largest electronics and IT show, with a large gallery of the first Blu-ray devices.

Recorders, drives and media were on display from the likes of Panasonic, Philips, Samsung, JVC, Sharp, Pioneer, Sony, Hitachi, Yamaha, TDK, Verbatim, LG, HP, Toshiba and NEC, enough to suggest that there will be no shortage of devices once the technology launches commercially next year.

The Philips BDP 9000 is pictured.

The gallery can be seen at www.blu-ray.com/ifa2005.
