GeCube Radeon X600XT PCIe card features dual-side heatpipes 12:05PM, Tuesday 7th December 2004
Info-Tek, producer of GeCube branded graphics cards, today announced the release of the GeCube Radeon X600XT SilenCool graphics card, the newest product from GeCube's SilenCool series.

Along with the GeCube Radeon RX700 Pro, this graphics card uses GeCube's SilenCool technology that allows the card to take up a single PCIe slot in contrast to other high-end graphics cards with cooling solutions that can block access to the PCIe slot closest to the graphics slot.

GeCube's SilenCool dual-side heatpipe covers the graphics chip and memory portion of the graphics card. With this design, the card is designed to achieve optimal heat dispersion and ensure system stability when operating for long periods of time. This should increase the overall life of the card. Moreover, because SilenCool technology does not use any fan, its noise-free operation is suitable for presenting multimedia content,

The card is currently in mass production and should be on store shelves by the end of December. The average selling price (ASP) will be around $199.
