Belkin claims that it is designed specifically for the notebook market, with a compact shape measuring 8.7cm 'nose to tail' with a maximum width of 4.8cm. The optical sensor processes surface motion at 1,500 frames per second, and is able - via RF operation - to work up to 90cm from the computer. It also comes with an extension cable.
There is an on/off switch and the device runs on 2x AAA batteries. It has an RRP of £34.99 (including VAT).

Also on the mouse font, Logitech has announced a new 'nest' of mice: the Click! range. Designed for mainstream PC users, it consists of Click! Optical Mouse (£29.99), Cordless Click! Optical Mouse (£39.99, pictured) and Cordless Click! Plus Optical Mouse (£49.99) - all prices including VAT.
'The mouse may well be the object we touch most during the day,' said a spokesperson for Logitech. 'It has to look good, feel good and work perfectly. We spent thousands of hours researching and designing the smallest details and most subtle contours for Click!'
