The main 22in monitor is paired with a 7in screen that's perfect for video chats, instant message conversations, music players, RSS feeds or private information which you don't want to broadcast on your main display.

hinge on the rear, you can move the 7in screen to the left, top or right, and you can even rotate it to portrait mode at which point the bundled software automatically rotates the image to suit. If you like, you can detach the screen completely and place it on your desk using the built-in stand.

It connects to the main monitor via a USB2 cable using Samsung's UbiSync technology, so cable clutter is kept to a minimum. Because of this, it's also ideal for use with a laptop and Samsung confirmed that it will sell the screen separately, but pricing hasn't yet been decided.

The 22in screen has VGA, DVI and HDMI inputs plus two USB2 connectors, one of which has to be used for the 7in tandem monitor. It also has an integrated 3-megapixel webcam and microphone.
