Despite the Irish spelling of 'whiskey', this site is dedicated to the huge range of Scottish single malt whiskys. The huge range appears to be covered pretty exhaustively. You can search by distillery name or by area and, once you've found the distillery you're looking for, you can read up on it and the various bottlings that are offered.

Each bottling is described in some detail, although you may find the descriptions a bit strange at first. For example, "the palate is very sweet at first, then a big rush of smoky, iodine flavours. The finish is bold and peppery, with a lingering interplay of sweetness, salt, smoke, and pepper." The site is a well-presented mix of descriptive text and photographs and there's also a selection of book reviews.
