The FireStix's small capacity and high price make it the second-most expensive flash drive per gigabyte here. It's hardly stylish, either, though there is a useful pen-style clip and a lid that fits on the rear when not needed. It also comes with 256-bit encryption software.
Buffalo's FireStix is a very fast drive, with some of the quickest scores here when reading both large and small files, and respectable speeds in all our other tests. Lexar's JumpDrive Lightning is just as quick and feels tougher, though.
