Iiyama's newest 20in model is similar in price to Asus's and BenQ's 20in screens, but it can't match the cheaper LG model for quality. Its design is plain, with a fixed stand that only tilts, although it's the only 20in monitor with a digital DVI connection.
We had problems with the screen's image quality. Colours seemed pale and washed out compared with the more vivid output from LG's L204WS and Asus's VW202s. We changed the User colour mode to get rid of a nasty blue tinge, but we couldn't get a clean, natural tone without any colour casts, despite the clear control buttons and intuitive menu. It had no problems displaying colour transitions, though, and displayed deep blacks, even if a tiny bit of light bled through at the bottom.
This is one of the few monitors here with a headphone socket as well as a reasonable set of speakers. Image quality is below par, though.
