LabsSATA hard disks
Seagate's 1TB Barracuda was the second-fastest SATA disk in our large files tests overall. This makes it appealing for certain tasks, such as video editing. Unfortunately, it was the second-slowest disk in our small files tests. While it's not a bad disk, it's not as fast as Samsung's 1TB disk or as inexpensive as Western Digital's 1TB Caviar GP.
