LabsPATA hard disks
Western Digital's 400GB disk costs only £26 more than the 160GB models here, so it's good value if you want a lot more storage. Unfortunately, it was the second-slowest PATA disk in most of our tests, although it fared better at writing small files, where it came third. If you need fast performance and a lot of storage, the 500GB disks here are all better value. SPECIFICATIONS:
