LabsPATA hard disks
Maxtor's 160GB PATA disk costs £5 more than the other drives with the same capacity. Unfortunately it was the slowest PATA disk in all our file transfer tests. Although it wasn't far behind the faster disks when reading both large and small files, it was noticeably slow when writing them. With better performers available for less, there's little reason to choose this hard disk. SPECIFICATIONS:
