LabsPATA hard disks
Hitachi's 160GB PATA disk costs the same as Excelstor's Jupiter and has similar performance. It wasn't as fast as the Jupiter when writing small files but edged ahead for reading large files, where it was the fastest PATA disk in our group. Both disks are good choices if you want a budget disk, but the higher-capacity models are better value per gigabyte. SPECIFICATIONS:
