EZcool's K-110 is the only case in the group to include a PSU. It's a generic model rated at 500W but, as we found in our PSU group test in Shopper 234, generic PSUs rarely deliver their rated wattage.
The front of the case looks cheap, although flip-down covers conceal the top two 5in drive bays so your optical drives don't have to match the case's colour. The case has USB2 and audio ports on the right-hand side at the very front, but no FireWire port.
Opening the side panel reveals a basic and sparse interior. There are plenty of drive bays, but they don't have plastic clips to make it easy to fit drives without a screwdriver. There are no fans, so you'd have to add a 120mm rear fan to stop all but the most basic PCs overheating.
EZcool's basic K-110 case would suit budget system builders who don't need a powerful PSU or much heat dissipation. Most people would be better off buying a Gigabyte GZ-X1 for around £30 and fitting a branded PSU, though.
