Computer Shopper Competition (Issue 245)

Expires: 6 Jul 08

This month we're giving you the chance to win a Pure Chronos iDock, a CorelDraw Graphics Suite, a Zalman Trimon 22in widescreen monitor, and many more prizes.

A Zalman Trimon 22in widescreen monitor

www.quietpc.com

Graphics cards may be able to generate stunning 3D worlds, but a standard monitor can display only flat 2D images. With Zalman's Trimon 22in widescreen monitor, however, you can enjoy games and movies in proper 3D as images jump out of the screen at you.

All you need is an Nvidia GeForce 5000 series (or higher) graphics card. Then just load your favourite game or 3D movie, put on the supplied polarising glasses and prepare to be amazed. The monitor works with lots of recent games and all specifically filmed 3D movies.

When you don't want to play games or watch movies, the Trimon works as a regular 22in widescreen monitor, so there's no need to wear the glasses. With a resolution of 1,680x1,050, there's plenty of room for all your applications.

We have one Trimon monitor to give away.

Worth £400

A Genius multimedia bundle

www.geniusnet.co.uk

Genius's G-Shot DV1112 is a video camera with a 2.7in widescreen LCD. As well as shooting video, it can be used as a digital stills camera, voice recorder, TV/DVD recorder, web camera, security camera, eBook reader or an MP3 player.

The SP-Tempo 800 iPod speaker is the ideal way to turn your iPod into a mini-stereo system. It has superior sound quality thanks to the built-in DRDsound-effect technology. This controls the bass equaliser and helps to reproduce crisp sound without distortion.

The G-Pen is an ideal Tablet PC for graphics work. This high-resolution, 4,000lpi A4 tablet will give you extra precision and control compared to your mouse.

We have one bundle to give away.

Worth £270

A Roberts Stream 202 digital radio

www.robertsradio.co.uk

The Stream 202 enables you to listen to radio stations from around the world by streaming them over the internet, and listen to crystal-clear UK broadcasts using the built-in DAB tuner. Internet broadcasts can be listened to using the radio's built-in wireless adaptor. Furthermore, the Listen Again feature lets you listen to previously broadcast BBC programmes when it suits you.

Features include 15 station presets, two alarm timers and an auxiliary input socket, so you can plug in and play your MP3 player. It's lightweight and compact, so is perfect for outdoor use or travel.

We have two digital radios to give away.

Worth £150

A Ricoh GX 3050n GelSprinter

www.ricoh.co.uk

The GX 3050n GelSprinter printer is a network-ready colour printer, which prints at an amazingly fast 29ppm with double-sided printing as standard. With its Level Colour Technology, a colour print can be made for little more than the price of a mono print.

This is due to a combination of viscous gel and a wide print head. The fast-drying viscous gel dries on impact and enables fast duplex printing with no smudging, while the wide print head provides the speed.

We have one printer and four gel cartridges to give away.

Worth £300

A Pure Chronos iDock

www.pure.com

The Pure Chronis iDock is a combined DAB digital clock radio and iPod docking system, so you can wake up to radio, your favourite iPod track or a simple tone alarm. Docked iPods charge automatically when docked, and the iDock is compatible with all iPods from the fourth-generation model onwards. The dock delivers quality stereo sound for music and radio.

The Chronos iDock is part of Pure's Ecoplus range, which has been designed and manufactured to minimise environmental impact, with a standby power consumption of less than 1W and packaging and documentation made from recycled and sustainable materials.

We have three to give away.

Worth £99
