Symantec rolls out Vista-prepped security 4:53PM, Thursday 30th November 2006
Symantec has released its Vista-ready security suite in time for the business release of Microsoft's flagship launch today.

Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition 10.2 includes includes Symantec Client Security 3.1, offering integrated antivirus, antispyware, firewall, and intrusion prevention throughout the network and managed from a central console.

virus incidents reported in November concerned viruses that were able to infect the Vista platform.

Symantec's Ghost Solution Suite 2.0 is also Vista-capable, and able to support the creation and deployment of Vista disk images for both 32 and 64 bit platforms.

Symantec Backup too is ready for Vista, allowing remote backup management for desktop and laptops as well as servers running the new operating system.
