A rucksack was also discovered containing children's clothing and a copy of Time Out dedicated to children's days out.
At his sentencing, the judge ordered Fernandez to be kept on the Sex Offenders Register and given a Sexual Offences Prevention Order for life, alongside the two-year sentence. He was also banned from using computers to access chatrooms, file-swapping or visiting pornographic websites of any description. Police officers are also to be given access to any residences of Fernandez in order to check he is complying with the orders.
Detective Constable Sean Robbie, from Met's Child Protection High Tech Crime Unit, said: 'This is an excellent result for the Met's Paedophile High Tech Crime Unit who strive to ensure that anyone who handles this sort of illegal material will be prosecuted.
'By having the support and co-operation of our international colleagues, in this case the services of the Sex Crimes Unit of the Toronto Police Service, we will continue to work together and be dedicated in our pursuit of these criminals.'
