NEC PowerMate ML7 review

Verdict

The ML7 can't match the new Dell or HP ranges for flexibility, but if you only need a handful of PCs and price is your biggest priority, the PowerMate is a very good choice.

At just £699, the ML7 would have been an A-List contender just three months ago. But the new ranges from HP and Dell are far more obvious choices for larger companies, thanks to their manageability (such as sharing a single disk image across several models) and their greater security options. However, for any company looking for a few PCs at a competitive price, the PowerMate ML7's generous features, good warranty and high-quality screen make it an obvious choice.
