The Magnum Pro 1G is one of the fastest single-processor PCs we've seen, but this performance comes at a price. Costing a princely £2,299 the Panrix is expensive, albeit unmatched in terms of 2D and 3D graphics performance. It's worth noting, however, that the Magnum Pro 1G is £200 cheaper than the model featured in last month's Labs. Add to this the bundled copy of Microsoft Office 2000, plus the three-year warranty, and the true value of the Panrix becomes more evident. The Magnum Pro 1G is well built and supremely fast and if you want stunning performance without losing out on features, there's simply no other choice.
