Disgo Tablet 8104 review
Verdict
Incredibly cheap for a 10in Android 4 tablet, but it’s slow, immensely frustrating and has a very poor screen

Given your final paragraph I'm glad (considering my sub £200 budget) that I went for the PlayBook. The fact it now plays a lot of Android apps makes up for the paucity of apps in its own store.

In the first picture, the proportions of the screen look very wrong, like it has been stretched horizontally.

Sub £200?
The iPad is sold at (less than?) cost price. Apple make money from apps.
To expect something anywhere near as good for the same price is unrealistic.
I could be wrong but...

confucious you are not so wise
The iPad has around a 40% markup as is usual with Apple.

Seems to be the best budget tablet. IPS screen for around £170.

But the Samsung Glaxy Tab 2 will be out soon
That should be great for £200.

picked a xoom 1 up over easter - it was on offer at pc world for £249. got it home and put ICS on it within about an hour. am very pleased with it. 32GB built in and i have a spare 16GB sd lying around to bung in. highly recommended :-)

It's criminal that these companies ship equipment with such severe faults such as random reboots and screen issues. Tech savvy individuals would naturally avoid these abominations but I can picture this showing up in an Asda or Tesco sometime soon and people being very disappointed with their purchase.
