It's a major rewrite and it's delivered something new for just about everyone. There are limitations, though: we'd still like to see an option to display live stock levels on the website, and the sheer cost means smaller operation should consider products such as LiteCommerce (www.litecommerce.com). Otherwise, there's nothing that can touch this new version. Actinic has taken notice of customer feedback, looked long and hard at the range, and come up with a group of products and prices that closely fit the needs of the current generation of e-tailers. A final feature that makes the upgrade a little less fretful is that version 8 will co-exist with older versions on the same machine, so you can become familiar before moving over entirely.
