Actinic Business multi-user 7.5

Continuing with the theme of speeding up orders, Actinic has added what it calls One-Click Order Processing. Instead of operators having to go through several stages, such as printing packing notes and invoices, emailing the customer, accepting the payment and marking the order as picked and invoiced, you can now select Complete Order and all the stages you've defined in the settings under One-Click Order Completion will be executed. This is great for processing the majority of the orders as quickly as possible.

Actinic has carved a market out all for itself; its competitors, such as ecBuilder at £145 and 4D Business Kit at £450, offer products with fewer features and only a single-user option. Its closest competitor was Astrosell (see issue 100, p138), but this hasn't moved on in product version since our review of version 3 in early 2003. With this multi-user version, Actinic has moved its product up a level. Existing customers of Actinic who are happily finding that they need more staff to deal with their orders will find this a tempting upgrade.
