in Software
Verdict
A few new widgets for the novice user, but added AVCHD support is what really impresses.

Excellent Results- Very Poor Support
I bought this a few weeks before version 8 came out but apparently the differences are small.
I also have cyberlink powerdirector.
Of the two the adobe gives the better results and crashes far less although it does still crash from time to time.
Adobe can do more but it is not at all intuitive and you need to read the help to lean how to do things.
Sadly I had a rendering issue with Premeier and as yet (3 months later) adobe have not yet helped. In fact the adobe support experience is nothing at all short of rubbish.
That said Cyberlink are very persistent with their support.
If you need an easy to use solution go for cyberlink but if you need a near professional result the go for adobe....just ask for support.
