Ease of Use

Notwithstanding this omission, we're very impressed with the latest version of Premiere Elements. It errs on the side of power rather than simplicity, as previous versions have, and remains more complicated to use than most, despite Adobe's front-end wizardry.
But now, with the comprehensive support for AVCHD in this version, there's no longer any reason to consider the opposition. As such, Premiere Elements retains its position as the best non-professional video editing package on the market.
