VoIP Test
Speedtest is great for getting to grips with how well your ISP is delivering the connectivity you have paid for. But what if you want to find out something a little more specific, such as whether your broadband connection has the consistency of bidirectional throughput required to support Voice over IP?
You might not know, but we know a man who does, and he's called the bandwidth.com VoIP test.
The site will tell you if you have a latency problem which could impact upon VoIP, how many concurrent calls your bandwidth will support, or even if the necessary VoIP protocols can traverse unimpeded to and from your network.
By simulating a number of two-way VoIP calls at the same time, the test accurately determines your real world simultaneous internet voice call capability.
Just make sure you enter the site via DSL reports; visiting the bandwidth.com website requires you to enter a valid US Zip code.
