Adobe Premiere Elements 4

Verdict

The new interface is easy to use, yet doesn't compromise on editing power, although AVCHD support is lacking.

Apart from the new interface, Adobe Premiere Elements 4 isn't a huge upgrade over version 3. But there's plenty to cheer: this is the easiest Elements to use yet, and now even easier than the competition. However, we have to say the lack of AVCHD support is disappointing. If you have an AVCHD camcorder, you'll have to turn to an editor such as Ulead VideoStudio 11 Plus (web ID: 117849) instead. For users of other types of camcorders, though, this remains the first choice for entry-level video editing.
