Intuit QuickBooks Pro 2008

Verdict

Significant improvements in ease of use, but the absence of multicurrency support and high price disappoint.

Review Date: 10 Oct 2007

Price when reviewed: (£245 inc VAT)

Overall Rating
3 stars out of 6

We've long liked QuickBooks, but although robust and easy to learn it doesn't represent good value at this price. It's also worth noting that we in the UK are paying twice as much as those in the US. If you're upgrading, the ability to share your files with your accountant is useful. But if you need to work with multiple currencies, our advice is equally unequivocal. Sit on your hands until QuickBooks puts the feature back, or look at the MYOB alternative.
