Other changes are minor. You can create recurring payments with a start date prior to the system date - useful if you ever need to record a series of transactions that have already started - and you can search recurring transactions by name, amount or next due date. There are also tweaks to the way you can get information in and out of the program, allowing you to import and export payroll information and inventory adjustments.

We're disappointed online integration hasn't improved since we last looked at the program, though: you're still limited to electronic filing of P40 and P60 payroll forms - no match for QuickBooks Pro's excellent e-commerce features, which allow businesses to sell online. But for those who don't need this sort of online integration, MYOB Accounting offers simpler accounting for inexperienced users and remains the top choice for most small businesses.
