With the Blade AI1000, Boston is targeting a wide range of environments, such as server consolidation, HPC, research and simulations, as well as the education market. It isn't as sophisticated as equivalent systems from HP and IBM, and it certainly won't be worrying the former in terms of enclosure and power management. However, the AI1000 aims to offer a far more cost-effective solution, along with the industry's highest processing density, and it succeeds.
