WisBar Advance 2
WisBar Advance 2 isn't simply a theme tool for your Pocket PC; it also lets you manage your tasks much more efficiently by extending the OS's functions. In addition to letting you add or remove functions from the taskbar, WisBar Advance 2 introduces a cascading Start menu (like Windows XP's) giving you direct access to all programs and settings.
Of course, it also allows you to make your PDA look a lot more attractive and there are plenty of free high-quality skins available to download.
While WisBar Advance 2 lets you change the look and feel of the OS, you'll also want WisBar Advance Desktop ($10) to really take advantage of the Today screen. It takes the Today screen and replaces it with a virtual Desktop where you can place shortcuts to folders or programs and create memory or battery meters. It supports almost all Today plug-ins too - WeatherPanel from www.marsware.net is shown in the screenshot above.
With so much power (and VGA resolution support for the latest devices), both WisBar Advance 2 and Desktop are must-haves for anyone who uses their Pocket PC seriously, particularly bearing in mind the remarkably low price.
