HP OfficeJet Pro 1150C review

Verdict

The OfficeJet Pro 1150C may not be the best colour printer or colour scanner, but it makes a reasonable job of both tasks.

Scanning speed depends on the resolution you choose, but a typical 6 x 4in colour photograph takes about one minute, 15 seconds to scan at 300dpi in the 24-bit Photograph mode. A page of A4 text will scan in 30 seconds at 300dpi in OCR mode, which is 4-bit.

At £655, the OfficeJet Pro 1150C is still more expensive than a separate printer and scanner, but you're paying for convenience - the space and setup, and the ability to copy without having a PC on. If you're working in a crowded office and want more productivity in less space, it's worth investigating.
