Does it support any disk size, or is it 3.5" only? Does it support SSDs?

no eSATA
Sorry but on the site that matbarrie2 gave it says it has both USB2 and Esata connectivity.
USB3 or sata/600 is not yet available on the majority of peoples computers so is not an issue.

Cable
I'm still in favour of using a USB/IDE cable, and until an item like this drops below a tenner i'm not sold.
