Verdict
Combining a touchpad with a graphics tablet is a great idea, but alas it's not perfectly realised

Ergonomics
[sarcasm]
Looking at the picture above. IMHO, holding the pen while making the finger gestures is as convenient and straight forward as holding a stationary fork while using the chopsticks at the same time. [/sarcasm]

For another £5 you can get an extra option of putting the pen down next to the pad when wanting to use just fingers[/mega sarcasm]

Alternative ..
If you are not fussed about the stylus mode, may I suggest looking at the superb "Air Mouse" app for the iPhone/iPod Touch. This provides a multitouch pad which works instantly without the delays and is long range wireless (Wifi). In addition it provides a touch keypad, a neat mode for operating media centres and some application sensitive configurable keys.
Even if you have to buy an iPod Touch specially it is the best value PC remote I've ever experienced.
