Canon CanoScan 8800F

Verdict

A wide range of features, plus a strong software bundle, should place the 8800F on every photographer's shortlist.

Overall Rating
5 stars out of 6

PCPRO Recommended

Despite some niggles and the good rather than great image quality, the 8800F's tremendous flexibility makes it superb value for money. The transparency scanner is uncommonly versatile, the scan engine is quick and the software bundle is superb. It can't quite replace the Epson Perfection V350 on the A List: the Epson offers best-in-class image quality and, after all, that's the most important factor. But the 8800F is a worthy alternative.
