Palm Tungsten T2 review

Verdict

Memory and display upgrades make this a worthy successor to the Tungsten for the same price. For hardened Palm users, the only obstacle is Graffiti 2.

Bundled software includes RealOne Mobile Player, AvantGo, Documents To Go for editing and synching Microsoft Office documents, VersaMail for IMAP and POP3 email, and Web Pro, an HTML 3.2-compliant browser.

For those wanting to upgrade from a much older Palm or choose their first professional PDA, the T2 is a stunning device that should be top of the list. It's fast, has an excellent display and passes the shirt-pocket test. For those who jumped at the Tungsten when it came out, it may be worth waiting until the price drops and retraining your Graffiti skills before upgrading.
