There is no such as a free lunch, read the small print and you will discover that you are locked into a 12 month contract that you have to fill in forms and use snail mail to cancel after the 12 month period.

Fasthosts price hike
I received an email today 22 September which said said:
“A change to your hosting package will take place on 25th September 2010 and any service charges will be applied for this at your next billing date, which will be 4th October 2010.“
It’s a gross unfairness to increase the cost from £19.99 to £53.88 for an unchanged passive website.
To withdraw an existing product, at either 3 or 9 days notice, with no reasonable alternative, is simply not fair.
Fasthosts has let down users before with poor service. This takes it's business practice to a new low.

Correction
Fasthosts have just told me their email was a mistake; the price hike still applies but I get a bit more notice, ... I think.
