A constant criticism of the otherwise excellent IntelliPlug range is that using a laptop is tricky. The IntelliPlug works by detecting when your PC's power draw drops, which, if you're charging a laptop, is never significant, so your peripherals stay on. By connecting the USB connector on the OneClick, the IntelliPlug detects the voltage from your laptop's sockets - as long as they're healthy, your peripherals will shut down even if your laptop is charging. The OneClick is a must-have for electricity-conscious users who have shunned a desktop PC in favour of a greener laptop.
