Come back 4 x 3 screens (for business)...
"The 16:9 1080p panel just about makes sense at this size, but we still think a good 16:10 screen offers a more natural working area."
The 4 x 3 screen seems a better bet for businesses than most wide-screens, if only because it is closer to the portrait mode that most people work in for web pages and Word documents.

There are people who have paid rather more than £250, for substantially less than 3 inches ;-)

but surely a widescreen monitor turned 90 degrees to portrait view IS EVEN CLOSER or is it me being stupid?
