Gyration Air Mouse in Mice
Overall Rating

Numerous presentation mice have hit the market over the years, but they tend to be one-trick ponies - useful when you're standing in front of a projector, but entirely pointless the rest of the time. Gyration's Air Mouse is different: it can be used on your desk as a normal mouse then seamlessly transferred to mid-air use during a presentation. Rather than just letting you click on to the next slide, it gives you accurate control of the pointer: simply hold a button on the underside and move the mouse through the air. It worked in the office at a range sufficient for use in the largest of boardrooms, and the USB dongle picked it up in seconds with no setup required. The bundled software even lets you assign macros to specific motions. It's an expensive luxury, though.
