Dialogue Flybook V33i

Verdict

A versatile and likeable product, but it's let down by areas of poor build quality

Review Date: 23 Jun 2006

Price when reviewed: (£1,669 inc VAT)

Overall Rating
3 stars out of 6

Our feelings on the Flybook remain ambivalent, as the good points are counterbalanced by some notable drawbacks: the form factor is great, the touchscreen implementation being one of the better ones on the market; the keyboard, while cramped, still justifies its existence. But the screen is so poorly protected that we have genuine worries about it becoming damaged in transit or under heavy use - exactly the situation where such a machine would be so useful. As such, we can't give this Flybook a wholehearted recommendation.
