Verdict
The biggest Seashell yet is gloriously designed, but not quite so impressive under the hood

The 4,400mAh power pack delivered decent battery life, lasting 6hrs 35mins in our light use benchmark and ten minutes shy of four hours in our heavy-duty test. It should see you through most of the day but it can't match the Samsung N110, which gave a colossal nine hours on one charge.
All in all, the latest Eee is a reasonable, if unoriginal, effort. Its keyboard and trackpad are bettered by the Samsung NC20, whose slightly larger screen will also be appreciated by those looking for a big-screen netbook.
Couple this with its lack of power and not-quite top class battery life and it's clear that the 1101HA is very much a case of style over substance. With top-class competition such as the N110 and NC20 offering better battery life and batter performance for similar prices, the Asus lags behind.
