Performance

And, to achieve such wonderful battery life figures, the processor is necessarily a little weak. It's a 1.25GHz Intel Core 2 Duo SU9300 backed by 2GB of DDR2 RAM - though the presence of XP (Vista is an option) means it gets a faster benchmark (0.8) than the Lenovo ThinkPad X301 (0.78) with its more powerful SU9400. Not that you'll be using this machine for anything demanding like video encoding or games.
All in all it's a shame, given all its many talents, that the CF-19's touchpad and keyboard weren't better. Had these been a touch more usable, we'd have had no hesitation in recommending this laptop, despite the high price, to anyone needing the power of a full-blown laptop but whose job takes them outside the clean confines of normal office life. As it is it's only a conditional thumbs up.
