Samsung R510 review

Battery life is a highlight, however, with the Samsung R510 managing just over four and a half hours at idle. The hour and six minutes under heavy usage isn't quite so impressive, but given that this is a laptop unlikely to travel further than the office to the garden and back, it's no deal breaker.

While its unlikely to grab any headlines, Samsung's R510 still offers fine value for money. If you can live with the dreadful, tinny speakers, which are a far cry from the superb music-makers on Toshiba's A300-177, and the less inspiring display, then the R510 offers a very fine specification at a bargain basement price.
