Evesham Voyager C350

Verdict

A lack of flair, poor battery life and lacklustre graphics leave the C350 wanting.

Review Date: 13 Aug 2007

Price when reviewed: (£499 inc VAT)

Overall Rating
3 stars out of 6

Alas, the C350 is dragged down once again by its battery life. The 4,400mAh battery supplied was only capable of lasting 1hr 7mins in our intensive tests and an even more uninspiring 2hrs 17mins in light use. That's disappointing even for a £499 machine, particularly when there's not even a powerful graphics chip to blame.

It's a disappointment too far for the Voyager C350 and, although there's some respectable application performance hiding away, it's far from outstanding. The reasonable screen and keyboard can't make up for the lacklustre design and poor battery life - even at this price. If you must have a budget notebook, the Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Li1718 is the better bet.
