Dell Latitude C600

Verdict

Fast, well made, reliable and feature packed. It's so good it's almost galling

Review Date: 23 Nov 2009

Price when reviewed: (£2,349 inc VAT)

Overall Rating
5 stars out of 6

With all the hardware and extras packed into the C600 it's good to see that it still does a fair job in day-to-day use, and the lithium ion battery has enough juice to let you watch a two-hour DVD movie in one sitting, or keep typing for a little over three. Even the crystal clear XGA 14.1in TFT screen, didn't suck up that much juice.

There's very little to complain about when summarising the C600. It looks good, performs well and it's reasonably priced too. Dell has created a fantastic notebook that's not only reliable, but also affordable and practical. The Latitude C600 will give its owner a smooth ride, with infrequent trips to the pits for repairs.
